The Peter Laake Story – (Video)

When Loyola-Blakefield lacrosse player Peter Laake was struck in the chest with a ball during a game in April 2021, his heart stopped and he suffered what is known as commotio cordis. Fortunately, the team’s athletic trainers and other personnel on the sideline were able to save Peter, acting immediately to provide life-saving CPR and a shock from an AED on the sideline.
