VIDEO – Students’ backpacks fortified to withstand bullets

As Saint Cornelius Catholic School eighth graders move up to high school, their backpacks will evolve to withstand bullets, thanks to SafeShields provided by Unequal Technologies in Glen Mills. Unequal makes protective gear for athletes, has made specialized stunt gear for Tom Cruise flicks, and even made prototype bulletproof garments for the Pope ahead of his visit to the United States.
