In ECNL everyone plays at 100% and knowing I have this layer of Unequal protection just means I am comfortable going for it. I compete for all head ball opportunities, without any worry of collisions with other players heads or elbows. Coaches have said nice things about the Halo… some have said they think I’m the smartest player on the field wearing the protection.

KENNEDY SAYS…

“A couple of my older friends were wearing a Halo.  I decided to try it.  I’ve loved it ever since.

“I started playing when I was very young. And here I am to this day still loving the sport. A doctor friend of my dad’s, Dr. Daniel Amen, told my dad that girls’ soccer was risky as far as head trauma and suggested I should wear head protection. He talked about the irony of shin guards being mandated yet head protection wasn’t required. I tended to agree with him that that was weird. So I started with Full 90. I didn’t really like the big, bulky feel and it soaked up moisture. Then I got a concussion while wearing it and we went looking for something better. Storelli wasn’t comfortable either and then we noticed what Ali Krieger wore the Unequal Halo in the recent World Cup.”

“I especially love how the Halo fits and forms to my head,”

“The material is super pliable, but at the same time solid and ultra-protective. As a female player, I especially love how the Halo fits and forms to my head without a bunch of elastic straps or Velcro, and how small it is! It looks like a normal headband, not a big and bulky helmet like other types I’ve tried.”

“The Halo is just better than anything I have tried.”

“It fits good, looks good, feels good and doesn’t hurt my game. It gives me an edge. Like in drills, practicing corner kicks or whatever, I notice other girls not wanting to head the ball after a while, but I can keep going. The Halo absorbs the impacts so my head doesn’t get as tired or sore like theirs do. It doesn’t change ball direction or speed either.”

KENNEDY SAYS…

“In a game the Halo allows me to stay focused and play super competitively.”

“In ECNL everyone plays at 100% and knowing I have this layer of protection just means I am comfortable going for it. I compete for all head ball opportunities, without any worry of collisions with other players heads or elbows. I have forgotten to wear the Halo in a couple games along the way, and my parents really noticed how I hung back or didn’t go for the big header, which I would do when wearing Unequal.”

“Coaches have said nice things about the Halo… some have said they think I’m the smartest player on the field wearing the protection. That makes me feel good.”

“I think more players should wear it and they would discover what I know.”

KENNEDY’S DAD, STEVE SAYS…

“She’s just a lot more confident wearing Unequal. She’s a different player if she doesn’t wear it. We’re grateful she wears it consistently. If it wasn’t comfortable and good looking and helping her play better, she wouldn’t wear it. And because she is playing at such a high level, no one puts her down for wearing it.”

“She’s one of the more dominant players and when you connect the dots, Unequal is a key reason she plays so tough.

“I like the 360 protection. If her heads hits the turf or another head… the protection is there.  Incidental contact, basic headers, those repetitive impacts add up and can be just as bad as one big hit. Unequal is there reducing the effects of those jolts.”

“She’s being contacted by colleges already all over the country and may be a candidate for the national team. Can’t wait to see how far she goes. My wife and I feel more secure knowing that we have discovered your products and the serious level of protection they provide Kennedy.”
